Capgemini is hiring a Google Cloud Platform Solution Architect
Your role
. Working with Google Cloud Platform team for various Google Cloud Platform Cloud programs including Certifications, Partner engineering, Marketplace and other Cloud platform solutions.
. Experience with private, hybrid or public cDloud technology
. Understanding of multi-Cloud/multi-zone high availability design
. Possess strong Cloud implementation experience in Cloud architecture/design, compute/storage services.
. Google resource hierarchy, IAM and service account provisioning
. Knowledge of implementation agnostic microservice patterns across different frameworks such as nodejs, python, java, agular, php, ruby, .Net etc.
. Experience with Kubernetes and Service Mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd
. Experience with observability tools such as Grafana, Kiali and Google Stackdriver
. Understanding of DevOps, GitOps CI/CD implementation into the cloud using technologies such as Cloud Build, Tekton and flux
. Understanding of Kubernetes Operators
. Understanding of packaging with Helm charts ,Cloud automation Ansible, YAML, Container orchestration Kubernetes, GKE.
Your skills and experience
. 10+ years design & implementation experience with distributed applications and systems
. 10+ years experience in information technology, enterprise data-center technologies and private cloud
. 3+ years of hands-on experience with architecting solutions on Google Cloud Platform
. Understanding of the current state of infrastructure automation, continuous integration/deployment, SQL/NoSQL, security, networking, and cloud-based delivery models
. Working knowledge of software development and automation tools and methodologies (Jenkins, Git, Terraform, Chef, Python, etc.)
. Experience with managing and using Git-repositories (Gitlab, GitHub)
. Scripting abilities with one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript
. Experience in the business technology market, and expertise working closely with sales and marketing teams in cloud computing or related technical fields.
. Experience with on-premise to cloud migrations or IT transformations
. Working knowledge of VMware, KVM or another virtualization software
. Experience working with Containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.)
. Experience working with PaaS platforms like Pivotal, Cloud Foundry and OpenShift

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $86,900 to $203,800
Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable national, state, provincial, and local pay transparency laws. The base compensation range listed for this position reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini, in good faith, believes it may pay for the role at the time of this posting. This range may be subject to change as permitted by law.
The actual compensation offered to any candidate may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors legally permitted in the applicable jurisdiction.
These may include, but are not limited to: Geographic location, Education and qualifications, Certifications and licenses, Relevant experience and skills, Seniority and performance, Market and business consideration, Internal pay equity.
It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted compensation range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
