EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Engineering Team at our Home Office in Columbia, MO for the Fall of 2026 (with potential to extend into Spring 2027 and Summer 2027).

Primary Responsibilities
  • Supports project coordination, data analysis, and cross-functional communication to help engineering teams operate efficiently. Core responsibilities often include:
  • Organize project schedules, maintaining documentation, and tracking action items to ensure tasks stay on track. 
  • Gather and analyze project data-such as timelines, costs, and resource usage-to identify risks or bottlenecks and prepare clear reports or dashboards for project managers and stakeholders. 
  • Facilitate communication among engineering, product, and operations teams by following up on deliverables, supporting meetings, and assisting with planning activities like design reviews or project sessions. 
  • Able to read schematics, Technical Writing (Any experience with automotive or detailed instructions) and soft skills on Office/Google Suite, hands on at times when involved with new product introduction

What You're Working With:

  • Must be actively working towards a BS degree (or seeking) in Mechanical, Electrical, Engineering preferred
  • Attention to detail / organization skills 
  • Able to lift 50 lbs
  • Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Sheets, and Creo preferred
  • You are highly organized and able to multitask
  • You have a strong desire to take on new challenges with a positive attitude
  • Aptitude for working in groups and collaborating, 
  • Familiar with Computer Aided Drafting, Kanban and work organization,
  •  Wiring Schematics, Electrical knowledge, Excel (soft skills), programming (Python), 
  • Ability to use tools, experience in automotive a plus.
