PetPlace, a subsidiary of IPH, is building a digital first pet e-commerce platform with the aim of connecting key market services such as adoption, lost pet reunification, and insurance to make pet care easy.

Position Summary

PetPlace is seeking a detailoriented Marketing Data Analyst to enable datadriven decisionmaking across the organization. This role is responsible for building reporting, developing dashboards, automating recurring reports, and compiling and analyzing large data sets to draw meaningful, actionable conclusions. You will analyze marketing, website, and sales performance and translate complex data into clear insights that improve customer acquisition, engagement, revenue, and ROI.

You, along with another Marketing Data Analyst, will partner closely with marketing, sales, product, finance, and leadership teams to measure campaign effectiveness, understand business performance, optimize revenue channels, enhance attribution, and uncover new growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting, Dashboard Development & Auitomation

  • Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards, KPIs, and recurring performance reports for websites, campaigns, funnels, and business metrics.
  • Utilize analytics tools and platforms-Google Analytics (GA4), Power BI, Looker Studio, Snowflake, Excel, and campaign management tools-to collect, analyze, interpret, and visualize data.
  • Ensure reporting accuracy, documentation, and data quality across systems.

Marketing, Website & Business Performance Analysis

  • Track, analyze, and report on multichannel marketing and website performance (e.g., display, paid search, paid social, email, social) to identify trends and optimization opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer behavior, sales performance, and lifecycle engagement to improve acquisition, retention, LTV, and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze business health and revenue drivers across key segments (e.g., species, buyer type, order type, product category).Support the reporting and analysis of A/B and multivariate tests to measure the impact of marketing and website changes, and communicate clear, actionable optimization recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Leverage internal and external datasets to identify pricing, category, audience, and channel opportunities.
  • Collaborate across teams to assess campaign performance and drive audience and revenue growth on platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, Bing, and TikTok Ads.
  • Respond to adhoc analytical requests with accuracy, speed, and strong business context.

Forecasting, Attribution & Customer Experience Insights

  • Collaborate with Finance to measure and forecast the financial impact of marketing, sales, and business strategies.
  • Support ongoing enhancement of channel attribution models and crosschannel measurement methodologies.
  • Partner with Customer Experience and Integrated Marketing teams to analyze the endtoend customer journey and identify friction points across ordering, fulfillment, and postpurchase touchpoints.
  • Develop reporting and dashboards that monitor customer sentiment, engagement metrics, satisfaction drivers, and support ticket trends-surfacing insights that improve retention and overall customer experience.

Data Quality, Process Improvement & AI Enablement

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues and inconsistencies across source systems.
  • Recommend improvements to analytics tools, methodologies, and processes to strengthen the organization's analytical capabilities.
  • Leverage AIpowered tools and workflows to improve efficiency, automate manual tasks, and expand insight capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, statistics/analytics or related field required
  • 3+ years of work experience in marketing research, statistical or data analysis
  • Experience in the insurance industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience growing revenues and measuring media impact metrics required
  • Excellent digital aptitude, significant familiarity with ad ops technology, and affiliate tracking and management tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation and analytical skills
  • Must have skills/experience: advanced MS Excel, Google Analytics, presenting analytical findings.
  • Demonstrated understanding of marketing and web KPIs (CTR, ROI, CVR, CAC, MAU) preferred
  • Proven ability in handling concurrent projects with attention to detail and accuracy
