King's Seafood Company has continued to see our restaurants get busier and busier, with new restaurant openings on the way and increasing guest counts, we are hiring for our Marketing team. We’re seeking a versatile new member of our small marketing team. We’re elevating our digital presence, and we need someone to manage and enhance all social.

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and delivering engaging social media content across digital channels to support King’s Seafood Company and its brands. This includes demonstrating both passion and initiative to build, generate, produce and publish social media posts daily. As the primary creator and moderator of social content, you will optimize company information on all platforms, leverage and respond to user-generated content, and analyze trends and data.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Support evergreen initiatives, promotional activations, seasonal campaigns, remodels and new restaurant openings through engaging social media content.
  • Generate, edit, publish and share daily content (original text, images, video) that deepens brand affinity, acquires and engages Guests and strengthens our brands’ presence in key markets.
  • Create and manage a dynamic social media content calendar, leveraging digital platforms and tools to encourage community members to take action.
  • Leverage the right channel at the right time to reach the right Guest, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tik-Tok, YouTube and Google.
  • Continuously improve content and engagement by capturing and analyzing data, metrics, insights and best practices. Report and act on the information daily, weekly and monthly.
  • Grow followers and engagement across all Guest-facing accounts, leveraging a mix of photo, video and written content to connect with Guests and tell our stories in the appropriate brand voice.
  • Collaborate and review content with key players across the company, including culinary and operations teams.
  • Monitor, forecast and socialize social media trends and technology, adopting platforms and practices that align with our business objectives, brand voice and Guest personas.
  • Curate and organize a database of assets to leverage for digital marketing campaigns.
  • Balance social media marketing activities with ad hoc support of restaurant marketing needs, including merchandise, digital marketing support and marketing materials orders support, as needed.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing/communications including direct experience in developing and delivering photo and video content for social media, preferably in food/beverage/hospitality industries or with a D2C brand
  • College degree in marketing, communications, public relations or related field
  • Passion for social media and knowledge of all channels, features and functions, as well as familiarity with social media management software
  • Adept at capturing and editing photo and video content and applying visual design fundamentals across channels
  • Strong verbal and written presentation abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and apply analytics to inform marketing decisions
  • Collaborative spirit and strong desire for feedback
  • Ability to think strategically and innovate in established and new mediums
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal and troubleshooting skills
  • Microsoft office suite and/or Adobe Creative Suite tools
