About the Role
We are seeking a DevOps & Platform Engineer to design, automate, optimize, and support enterprise platforms that enable secure, reliable, and scalable software delivery. This role involves collaborating with software engineers, architects, infrastructure teams, and stakeholders to implement modern platform solutions, deployment automation, cloud infrastructure, and graph database technologies. The position requires expertise across DevOps, cloud engineering, platform automation, Kubernetes, and Neo4j Graph Database administration.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support enterprise DevOps platforms that improve software delivery, operational excellence, and engineering productivity.
  • Administer and optimize enterprise source code management platforms, including Git repositories, branching strategies, version control, merge workflows, and release management.
  • Design, build, deploy, administer, and maintain Neo4j Graph Database environments, including installation, upgrades, clustering, performance tuning, backup and recovery, monitoring, and production support.
  • Develop and optimize graph data models, Cypher queries, indexes, and graph traversal strategies for high-performance, relationship-driven applications.
  • Build reusable platform services, automation frameworks, APIs, integrations, plug-ins, and microservices.
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or similar platforms.
  • Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and enterprise Kubernetes platforms.
  • Implement cloud-native infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (preferred) or AWS using Infrastructure as Code and automation best practices.
  • Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar technologies.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar tools.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform, application, infrastructure, and deployment issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, engineering standards, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and highly available platform solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering, Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Infrastructure Engineering, Cloud Engineering, or a related role.
  • Strong programming and scripting experience with one or more of the following:
    • Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, Groovy, Bash, PowerShell, YAML, Ruby
  • Experience developing and supporting REST APIs, microservices, and build frameworks such as Maven and Gradle.
  • Hands-on experience designing, deploying, administering, and supporting Neo4j Graph Database environments, including installation, upgrades, clustering, backup and recovery, performance tuning, monitoring, and production support.
  • Strong knowledge of Cypher Query Language, graph data modeling, graph query optimization, and graph database best practices.
  • Advanced experience with Git and enterprise source code management practices.
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitLab, or similar platforms.
  • Experience deploying and managing containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and enterprise Kubernetes platforms such as OpenShift, Tanzu, Rancher (RKE), or equivalent.
  • Experience working with Google Cloud Platform or AWS in cloud-native enterprise environments.
  • Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or comparable automation tools.
  • Experience supporting Linux and Windows server environments.
  • Experience implementing monitoring, logging, and observability solutions using AppDynamics, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, or similar technologies.
  • Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, including SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and database migration/versioning tools such as Liquibase.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies including Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe.

Preferred Skills
  • Google Cloud Professional, AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform, or Azure DevOps certifications.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical production environments.
  • Familiarity with security automation, vulnerability management, and DevSecOps practices.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting DevOps best practices across engineering teams.
