Job description

Cheez (https://cheez.cc/wayupeng) is a new app that sends you the pictures that your friends take of you, powered by facial recognition.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product and design teams (ex-Google/FB/Apple/Microsoft) to develop, test, and launch new features and improvements for our consumer social app.

  • Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code using modern web development technologies and best practices.

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

  • Troubleshoot and debug issues, implement fixes, and optimize application performance.

  • Participate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to a positive team culture.

  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously improve our product and development processes.

  • Contribute to our agile development methodology, attending daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings.

  • Minimum 2-3 years of software engineering experience
