Responsibilities

  • Need atlest 12 years of experience.
  • Design and implement enterprise-grade API management solutions using Google Apigee.
  • Architect and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure Apigee environments.
  • Configure and manage API proxies, policies, developer portals, and traffic management.
  • Define and enforce API governance standards, security policies, and lifecycle management.
  • Integrate Apigee with CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and Security teams to ensure compliance and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis for Apigee-related incidents.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams on API design and Apigee usage.

Required Skills

  • Expert-level knowledge of Apigee (API proxy design, policies, monetization, developer portal).
  • Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and networking.
  • Familiarity with Terraform or Deployment Manager for IaC using Gitlab runner.
  • Proficiency in API security standards (OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS).
  • Understanding of service mesh technologies (Istio, Linkerd).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, or similar) for Apigee deployments.
  • Solid understanding of microservices architecture and API lifecycle management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills.
