Overview
The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), the nation's largest small business advocacy organization, is looking to hire an Sr Full Stack .Net Developer to join its IT team. The role will be hybrid (minimum 2 days/week on-site) and based in our Nashville, TN office.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Developer with extensive .NET MAUI experience to design, build, and ship high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android. This role requires deep expertise in MAUI architecture and mobile UI, strong experience integrating AI capabilities into mobile apps, and proven success publishing and distributing apps through the Apple App Store and Google Play. You will also contribute to backend services and APIs, lead best practices for maintainable code and documentation, and drive automation through Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines and Git-based workflows.
Must communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work outcomes must meet and/or exceed productivity and quality standards. Able to work as part of a cooperative team environment; independent of direct supervision; adhere to Company and Department policies and procedures. Performs other projects or tasks as needed.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years professional software development experience with C#/.NET (or equivalent senior-level experience).
  • Extensive hands-on .NET MAUI experience delivering production mobile apps.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining mobile apps for both iOS and Android, including:
    • App signing, provisioning profiles/certificates, packaging
    • Publishing and distribution via Apple App Store and Google Play
  • Strong mobile UI development skills (layouts, navigation, state management, accessibility).
  • Strong experience integrating AI features into mobile apps (client integration + API-driven workflows).
  • Solid full stack capabilities including backend API development (e.g., NET Core, REST).
  • Strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipeline development, and Git (PR workflows, branching strategies).
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills with a track record of cross-team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with mobile analytics, crash reporting, and observability (e.g., App Center, Application Insights, Sentry or similar).
  • Experience with offline-first patterns, sync strategies, and local storage (SQLite, caching).
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices for mobile (OWASP considerations, token storage, encryption at rest).
  • Experience with automated UI testing for mobile and pipeline automation for signing/versioning.
  • Experience modernizing Xamarin or legacy mobile apps to .NET MAUI.
Technical Skills:
  • .NET / C#, .NET MAUI, XAML, MVVM (or equivalent patterns)
  • iOS/Android build & release workflows (signing, store publishing, internal distribution)
  • NET Core, RESTful services, integration patterns
