Location: Charlotte, NC

Our challenge:

We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Data Architect with strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-scale data platforms on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) within the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting modern data solutions, driving cloud transformation initiatives, and enabling advanced analytics, regulatory reporting, and data governance across financial systems.

The Role

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
  • Architect enterprise data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions using Google Cloud Platform services.
  • Lead data modernization and cloud migration initiatives from on-premises platforms to Google Cloud Platform.
  • Define data modeling standards, data integration frameworks, and metadata management strategies.
  • Design batch and streaming data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform native services.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, analysts, and application teams to deliver data solutions.
  • Ensure data quality, governance, security, and compliance with financial industry regulations.
  • Support regulatory reporting, risk management, fraud analytics, customer analytics, and financial reporting initiatives.
  • Establish best practices for data architecture, performance optimization, scalability, and disaster recovery.
