- 1+ years of experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- 1+ years of experience in BigQuery Administration & Performance Tuning.
- 1+ years of experience in BigQuery Reservations & Capacity Management.
- 1+ years of experience in Python Programming.
- 1+ years of experience in GCP IAM & Security.
- 1+ years of experience in Cloud Monitoring & Logging.
- 1+ years of experience in Cloud Storage.
- 1+ years of experience in Data Warehousing Concepts.
- 1+ years of experience in SQL Performance Optimization.
- 1+ years of experience in Shell Scripting.
- 1+ years of experience in Terraform.
- 1+ years of experience in Git / CI-CD Pipelines.
- 1+ years of experience in Apache Airflow / Cloud Composer (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience with BigQuery.
- 1+ years of experience with Teradata (preferred).
- 1+ years of experience with PostgreSQL/MSSQL/Oracle (good to have).
- 1+ years of experience in Cloud Monitoring.
- 1+ years of experience with OpsGenie.
- 1+ years of experience with Splunk.
- 1+ years of experience with New Relic.
- 1+ years of experience with ServiceNow.
Responsibilities:
- Administer and maintain Google BigQuery environments across Development, QA, UAT, and Production.
- Configure and manage datasets, tables, partitions, clustering, and storage lifecycle policies.
- Manage BigQuery resource allocation, quotas, reservations, and workload management.
- Support platform upgrades, new feature adoption, and environment provisioning.
- Analyze and tune BigQuery SQL queries for improved performance and reduced execution cost.
- Optimize storage structures, partitioning, clustering, and materialized views.
- Monitor query execution patterns and recommend performance improvements.
- Improve workload efficiency and reduce cloud spend through continuous optimization.
