Senior AI & Apigee Developer to help define and build the next generation of our API Platform, Developer Portal, and AI-powered onboarding capabilities. This role will focus on Google Apigee, API platform modernization, MCP integrations, Apigee Monetization, Agentic AI solutions, and AI-driven automation that improves developer productivity and onboarding experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineer with strong expertise in API platforms, cloud technologies, AI-enabled development, and enterprise automation.

A senior, hands-on engineer with expertise in Apigee, MCP, AI agents, Agentic AI, LLMs, RAG, AI-DLC, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and Developer Portal technologies, capable of driving API platform modernization and delivering AI-powered solutions that improve onboarding, automation, and developer productivity across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support API platform capabilities using Google Apigee.
  • Implement and manage Apigee Monetization capabilities.
  • Build and integrate MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers to enable AI-powered interactions with enterprise APIs and services.
  • Design and implement Agentic AI solutions for API onboarding, support, documentation, and operational automation.
  • Define and develop AI-powered onboarding capabilities that reduce manual effort and improve developer experience.

  • 6+ years of hands-on Google Apigee experience.
  • Strong experience with API Proxy Development, Shared Flows, API Products, Developer Apps, Target Servers, and KVMs.
  • Experience implementing OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, mTLS, API Key management, and certificate-based authentication.
  • Strong software development experience using Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Experience developing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise integrations.
  • Experience designing and implementing AI-powered engineering solutions.
  • Experience building Agentic AI workflows and automation solutions.
  • Experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) architecture and integrations.
