Success in this role comes from leading by example, staying organized, and adapting to the needs of the business.

What You'll Do

Lead Daily Store Operations

  • Serve as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Support daily store operations and help ensure company standards are met.

  • Sorting donated merchandise for quality and saleability.
  • Hanging, tagging, pricing, and stocking merchandise according to company standards.
  • Replenishing merchandise and maintaining organized displays throughout the day.
  • Moving clothing racks, donation carts, and merchandise between production and the sales floor.
  • Supporting daily production goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.

Cashiering

When assigned to the register, you'll:

  • Accurately process customer transactions.
  • Promote Goodwill Rewards enrollment and Round Up donations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
  • Provide a friendly and efficient checkout experience.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of retail supervisory or leadership experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and work collaboratively with others.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Looking to possibly grow into leadership roles within Goodwill

Physical Requirements

This is an active retail position. Team Members spend most of their shift standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and moving merchandise. The role requires working in both customer-facing and production areas while handling clothing racks, donation carts, and other store materials.
