Job description

Description

Position starts at $15.00 with annual merit increases and production bonuses. All team members are eligible for a variety of career development and skill training classes at no cost and can enjoy a generous team member discount. Full time team members are also eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance along with paid time off.


SUMMARY

Keeps the assigned retail store and grounds in clean and orderly condition by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES are listed below in order of importance, from most important to least important

Cleans restrooms, sales floor, offices, break room, and other work areas.  

Sweeps, dust mops, wet mops floors, and uses floor scrubbing machine.

Vacuums and cleans rugs and carpets.

Empties wastebaskets, garbage cans and transports trash and waste to disposal area.

Restocks bathrooms with supplies.

Cleans fixtures, shelving, glass doors, and window seals. 

Picks up trash and litter from building grounds and dumpster area.

Removes shopping carts from the store grounds and returns to inside of store.

Breaks down boxes and transports to cardboard container.

Checks air fresheners and change batteries and supplies when needed.

Maintain and clean work area (custodial closet), along with following SOP guidelines for work area.

Reports known or suspected security and/or theft problems to the Store Manager or other member of management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager.
