Job description

Primary Responsibility / Summary
Stages materials to facilitate restocking of Commissary store shelves with product. Time is spent as 25% stager and 75% stocker.
This position is for our Commissary located at the Los Angeles Air Force Base; 483 N. Aviation Blvd., El Segundo, CA 90245.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Locates and moves materials and product between work areas of the Commissary to expedite stocking of goods, according to predetermined schedules and priorities, and keep related records.
  2. Stocks and cleans store shelves; keeps aisles clear of boxes and stocking residue.
  3. Assists in keeping store stock available and stocks products in correct shelf locations.
  4. Properly rotates product, being alert to expiration dates.
  5. Interacts cooperatively with Government Commissary personnel and customers.
  6. Immediately advises supervisor when Government staff directs changes in contract requirements.

Education & Experience
  • No prior experience or training.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
