Job description

Description of Work Performs as a goodwill ambassador for all park operations, including the city's designated parking system. Monitors and enforces Park rules, policies and ordinances. Handles incidents and reports back to the proper Supervisor.

Works under the direction of the Recreation and Parks Supervisor, or their designee. Maintains a presence at the park entrance. Performs as a liaison between the City and visitors at assigned City Park.

Explains Park operations and parking procedures to visitors. Assists visitors by answering inquiries and addressing their concerns. Performs other related tasks as assigned by Supervisor.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must be proficient in application (App) based programs (ParkMobile) on Smartphone devices and be able to explain their use to Park visitors on iPhone and Android devices. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. Minimum Qualifications Requirements: Must be at least 17 years of age or older.

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour. This is a seasonal position, approximately running from May to September. Special Licenses/Certifications AND/OR Supplemental Information Must be available to work at least Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 430 pm to 930pm
