Job description

Location/Shift: Ashley ,Pa   

As a Stock Shipper, you will accurately load trailers in a timely manner in accordance to the customer order. Wise Foods is looking for qualified candidates that have experience with RF units, reach truck and forklift operating experience (certification preferred, not necessary).

Job Functions of this role include:

TRAILER LOADING:

  • Trailer inspections including the associated paperwork
  • Trailer cleanliness, correct and document if needed
  • Load trailer with product ordered by the customer according to the BOL
  • Use hand held scanners to locate and load product.

INVENTORY:

  • Assist on monthly inventory.
  • Auditing through out the month if needed.

TRAILER UNLOADING:

  • Unload trailers or finished goods, as needed.
  • Transferring and putting away finished goods in pick locations.

GENERAL:

  • House keeping
  • Willing to learn all aspects of the warehouse processes

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

REQUIRED:

  • GENERAL EDUCATION
  • ABILITY TO FOLLOW VERBAL AND WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS AND COMMUNICATION
  • HAVE OWN MEANS OF TRANSPORTAION

PREFERRED:

  • HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR G.E.D.
  • ADVANCED SCHOOLING
  • EXPERIENCE WITH EQUIPMENT / RF UNITS/ AND GENERAL WAREHOUSING
