The publication covers lifestyle, culture, and in-depth profiles, and its staff includes editors, writers, photographers, and designers. If you are interested in working for Good Weekend, you would typically apply for roles such as journalist, editor, or photographer. These professionals are responsible for creating engaging content, conducting interviews, and producing high-quality visual and written stories for the magazine.

What are the typical responsibilities and team dynamics for a journalist working at Good Weekend magazine?

Journalists at Good Weekend typically research, pitch, and write long-form feature stories, often requiring in-depth interviews and extensive fact-checking. The work environment is highly collaborative, with close coordination between writers, editors, photographers, and designers to ensure each story aligns with the magazine’s editorial standards. Journalists often face the challenge of balancing creative storytelling with tight publication deadlines. There are opportunities for professional growth through mentorship and by taking on more complex or high-profile assignments. Regular feedback and brainstorming sessions foster a supportive and innovative team culture.
