What is a Good Samaritan?

A Good Samaritan is someone who voluntarily offers help or compassion to a person in need, often in emergency situations, without expecting anything in return. The term originates from a biblical parable and is commonly used to describe anyone who performs acts of kindness or assistance, especially in times of distress.
