We are recruiting for a Delegating Nurse to manage care for a youth residential care community. Duties include:
  • Assessing the ability of residents to self-medicate
  • Overseeing and supervising medication administration for facility staff.
  • Ensuring adherence to applicable state and federal medication management regulations.
  • Conducting periodic evaluations for residents who self-medicate.
  • Delivering required in-service training, skills assessments, and competency verification to staff.

A few must-haves for Registered Nurses:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Maryland
  • Case Manager/Delegating Manager (CM/DM) certification is a must
  • CPR certification
  • Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
  • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate
  • Clean criminal record
