THE JOB:
As an Emergency Response Team Officer (ERTO), you'll be part of an elite group of highly trained professionals providing proactive, armed security to keep our guests, employees, and property safe. Whether responding to critical incidents or acting as a visible deterrent, you'll play a vital role in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment where safety and service go hand in hand. You will play a vital role in our mission to own the guest's experience and create WOW memories that they will carry with them far beyond their stay with us.
REQUIRED TRAINING
3.5 Week ERT Officer Academy October 12th - November 5th
(located in Las Vegas, Nevada)
*Must be able to attend the entirety of the academy. Hotel and travel arrangements provided*
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Patrolling and Vigilance: Routinely patrol designated areas to identify potential risks or emergencies, maintaining a vigilant watch over surroundings.
  • Prompt Emergency Response: Swiftly react to emergency calls or incidents, evaluate the situation, and take decisive measures to ensure safety and offer aid.
  • Collaborative Response Coordination: Work closely with fire departments, law enforcement, and medical personnel to coordinate response strategies and exchange vital information during emergencies.
  • Continuous Training and Development: Participate consistently in training sessions to refine skills, keeping abreast of the latest emergency response protocols and procedures.
  • Thorough Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records by documenting incident specifics, actions taken, and outcomes, ensuring adherence to organizational guidelines and regulatory standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Valid Driver's License in good standing (not expired, suspended or revoked)
  • Four (4) years of related or combined experience in one or more of the following: Law Enforcement Officer, Military Police Officer, Operator on a Military Special Operations team specializing in counterterrorism or dignitary protection, Special/Security Police Officer (SPO).
  • Graduated from an accredited US federal (to include DOE, DOD), state, or local, law enforcement academy.
  • Must satisfactorily pass Firearm test, physical agility test and psychological evaluation

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$38.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
Employees in this position are eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans. Specific program offerings vary by eligibility factors such as geographic location, employment status, and union membership.
