Plantation Lakes Golf & Country Club, located in Millsboro, DE, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Guest Services Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
The Guest Services Attendant is responsible for delivering an exceptional golf experience through friendly, professional, and efficient service in all areas of outside golf operations. This includes-but is not limited to-managing golf carts, maintaining the driving range, starting and monitoring pace of play, and ensuring the cleanliness and readiness of all guest service areas. This is for a Spring/Summer start date.
Primary Responsibilities
Golf Cart Operations:
  • Prepare, stage, and clean golf carts for member and guest use
  • Inspect carts for safety and operational concerns
  • Charge carts nightly and rotate fleet appropriately

Driving Range & Practice Areas:
  • Set up and maintain range balls, bag stands, and alignment tools
  • Monitor cleanliness, safety, and presentation of range tee and short game area
  • Collect range balls using range picker and ensure ball washer operation

Starting & Rangering:
  • Greet golfers at the first tee with course info, rules, and pace-of-play expectations
  • Monitor and manage pace of play on the course
  • Serve as a visible presence to assist and communicate with golfers throughout the round

Facility Cleanliness & Appearance:
  • Empty trash cans and clean up debris from carts, staging areas, and course rest stops
  • Maintain neat and organized cart staging and bag drop areas
  • Support the cleanliness of bag room and service areas
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Assist with tournament setup and breakdown
  • Support fellow staff and golf professionals to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:
  • Drivers license required
  • Positive and professional demeanor with strong communication skills
  • Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate golf carts safely
  • Weekend and holiday availability may be required

Pay Rate: $15 plus tips
