Job description

ELS is hiring for the position of Golf Starter in Clermont, Florida.
What you'll do:
The Golf Starter controls the pace of play on the golf course and provides information regarding the course, play time and other related issues.
Your job will include:
  • Greet golfers on the first tee, check receipts for payment and record basic golfer information.
  • Oversee starting times and pair up golfers into groups.
  • Inform golfers as to basic rules and the pace of play policy.
  • Work with Rangers to monitor the pace of play policy and intervene when necessary.
  • Monitor and attend to any issues to ensure a positive customer experience for players.

Experience & skills you'll need:
  • Ability to work early/late hours, including weekdays, weekends and holidays as required.
  • Basic knowledge of golf preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Valid driver's license
