Job description
This role will need to collaborate closely with various departments across Trackman, primarily Operations, Product and Sales. The ideal candidate will be a baseball/softball obsessive, have a talent for identifying and pursuing growth opportunities, have both B2B and B2C experience, be an excellent communicator and have an established network in amateur baseball/softball.
Job Responsibilities:
- Deeply understand youth customer segment needs to create overarching Amateur Diamond Sports strategy, drive support through organization and execute successfully
- Navigate fast-moving youth baseball/softball landscape, identify good entry points for TMDS and drive commercialization efforts
- Develop both B2B and B2C commercialization strategies to meet the needs of the different customers within this market
- Understand Trackman product portfolio deeply to provide customers best solutions
- Build strong networks across customer segments, including building relationships with tournament operators, facility management companies, key travel ball clubs, etc.
- Negotiate various customer deals ranging in size and complexity
- Create and review customer contracts in collaboration with TMDS leadership and Legal
- Help identify and drive partnerships that further TMDS's position in customer segment
- Collaborate with other TMDS departments to ensure success with this customer segment
- Provide feedback to TMDS Product team to help develop winning development road map
- Contribute to TMDS leadership team and department strategy
- Develop processes that help improve efficiency and make decisions faster
- Travel as needed to company events, customer and industry conferences
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- 6+ years' work experience sought from related backgrounds, including sales, account management, business development, etc.
- Strong baseball/softball knowledge passion
- Existing network across youth baseball/softball
- Good experience with B2C Sales and/or Marketing
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Personal drive, self-starter with demonstrated willingness to go the extra mile
