POSITION SUMMARY:
The Golf Cart Attendant is responsible for ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for our golfers by maintaining the golf cart fleet and providing exceptional customer service.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Ensure a clean and well-maintained fleet of golf carts by cleaning carts after use, checking tire pressure, and reporting any damage
  • Prepare carts for golfers by loading and unloading clubs, stocking carts with towels, scorecards, and tees
  • Assist golfers with cart operation and answer questions about the course
  • Efficiently stage and park carts to meet golfer demand
  • Maintain a clean and organized cart storage area
  • May also be responsible for cleaning range balls and maintaining the driving range area
  • Greet members and guests, and provide courteous and friendly first-in-class service to all members and guests
  • Be knowledgeable about facility programs (format, pricing, meeting dates/times)
  • Maintain confidentiality and discretion with guest and Team Member information
  • Professionally resolve guest concerns and complaints and/or direct to appropriate manager
  • Know and enforce the venue policies and procedures
  • Assist with venue preparation for events
  • Assist and transport guests as needed around the facility during events
  • Complete special projects, daily assignments, and other duties as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Valid driver's license preferred
  • Customer service experience preferred
  • Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, long hours) and regular attendance necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent guest service skills
  • Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
  • Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
  • Must work well with others
  • Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and venue
  • Commitment to the safety and well-being of others

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
  • May be required to sit, walk, or stand for extended periods of time and squat, stoop or bend
