Salary Range: $31.25 - $43.75 Hourly

Job Summary (Essential Functions)

Assists the Director of Golf and Golf Operations Team in all aspects of daily golf operations including member services, tournament administration, merchandising, instruction, club fitting, outside operations, and special events while delivering exceptional service to members and guests.

Job Tasks/Duties
  • Assist with daily Golf Shop operations
  • Coordinate and administer tournaments and club events
  • Prepare tournament materials, pairings, scorecards and cart assignments
  • Operate and manage Golf Genius tournament software
  • Assist with merchandising and retail operations
  • Provide exceptional service to members and guests
  • Assist with club fitting programs and equipment demonstrations
  • Provide individual and group golf instruction
  • Participate in junior golf programming and leadership activities
  • Assist with practice facility operations and maintenance
  • Assist with golf cart fleet management and staging
  • Play golf with members and participate in club events
  • Support outside golf operations when needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized and professional Golf Shop environment
  • Attend golf staff meetings and assist with special projects
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director of Golf
Physical Demands and Work Environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Frequent lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching and pulling
  • Continuous repetitive motions
  • Ability to lift and move golf equipment and merchandise
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Must be able to perform duties in hot, cold, humid, rainy and other seasonal weather conditions
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced golf operations environment
QualificationsLicenses and Special Requirements
  • PGA Associate or PGA Membership preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and extended seasonal hours
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
