Job description

Position Overview:
The Outside Golf Operations Staff plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our golf course’s outdoor areas. This includes overseeing golf cart usage, maintaining the driving range, and providing excellent customer service to all golfers. Our ideal candidate will be passionate about golf, customer service-oriented, and able to thrive in a dynamic outdoor environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Golf Cart Management:
  • Greet golfers with a friendly and professional attitude, assisting with the loading and unloading of golf bags.
  • Ensure that all golf carts are clean, charged, and ready for use prior to each round.
  • Maintain and manage the cart fleet to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Perform regular checks and minor maintenance on carts (cleaning, checking tire pressure, etc.)

Golf Range Management:
  • Oversee and maintain the driving range, ensuring it is stocked with clean golf balls.
  • Set up the range for daily use.
  • Monitor range conditions throughout the day, keeping the area clean and organized.
  • Assist golfers with range-related needs, such as ball dispensing or advising on range equipment.
  • Keep track of inventory and coordinate with management to ensure adequate stock of range balls and equipment.
  • Ensure all safety protocols are followed on the range, including maintaining clear signage and proper ball placement.

Customer Service:
  • Provide exceptional service to golfers from arrival to departure, creating a friendly and welcoming environment.
  • Assist guests with questions about course conditions, tee times, equipment, and other golf-related inquiries.
  • Address and resolve any concerns or issues in a professional and timely manner to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Maintain a positive, helpful attitude to enhance the overall guest experience.

General Operations Support:
  • Help with the opening and closing procedures of the cart barn, including securing equipment and ensuring the cart area is locked and organized.
  • Perform basic cleaning duties such as collecting trash, washing golf carts, and maintaining a clean environment in the cart barn and range areas.
  • Assist with organizing and setting up for special events or tournaments, including managing equipment and ensuring smooth operations.
