As a Player Assistant at Cragunโ€™s Legacy Courses, you are the first point of contact for golfers on the course, ensuring that they have a smooth, enjoyable, and memorable round of golf. Your positive attitude, attentiveness, and willingness to help are key to creating a welcoming atmosphere. Youโ€™ll assist with managing the pace of play, providing course information, and offering on-course support to make every golferโ€™s experience the best it can be. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service by anticipating golfers' needs, maintaining a friendly and approachable demeanor, and professionally addressing any concerns or issues.
  • Welcome and Greet Golfers: Serve as the first point of contact at the tee box, offering a warm and welcoming greeting, and ensuring golfers are ready to tee off on time.
  • Ensure Smooth Flow of Play: Manage the pace of play, ensuring golfers are ready to go when their time comes and monitoring the course for any delays or disruptions.
  • Assist with Course Navigation: Guide golfers to the first tee and other important locations on the course to ensure they know where to go and have the information they need.
  • Provide Course Information: Share details about the course layout, hole locations, and any special course conditions or rules to help golfers enjoy their round.
  • Assist with On-Course Needs: Provide support by answering questions, offering advice, and assisting with lost balls, equipment issues, or anything else that may come up during play.
  • Event Support: Help set up and support tournaments or special events, ensuring operations run smoothly and golfers have the information or materials they need.
  • Handle Requests or Complaints: Address player concerns or issues and escalate to management if necessary to ensure a resolution.
Requirements:


  • Friendly, approachable, and customer service-oriented.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Comfortable handling physical tasks such as lifting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Comfortable interacting with golfers of all skill levels and handling on-course issues as they arise.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to assist with course navigation and provide detailed course information.
  • Prior experience in golf or customer service is a plus, but not required.
  • Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
