Job Description
The Southern California Professional Golfers' Association is seeking part time golf coaches who have a passion for golf and love working with children. The SCPGA has partnered with TGA Premier Junior Golf, a corporation which operates a nationwide after school enrichment program that uses golf as a vehicle to help children grow and achieve success on and off the golf course. We bring golf to the school campuses and introduce the game to students in hopes to create lifelong golfers.
Qualifications
SCPGA is looking for individuals who possess the following:
  • role model
  • enthusiastic
  • friendly
  • courteous
  • authority figure

Requirements
  • Experience working with children (teaching/coaching groups of children)
  • Ability to communicate program details with parents and school administration
  • Capable of setting up/breaking down equipment and storage of equipment
  • Have reliable source of transportation
  • Basic golf knowledge
  • Enjoy working with children in a fun and safe environment

Additional Information
  • Run introductory golf programs
  • 5-10 hours/week, must be available afternoons
  • $25-$50 per class, MSR credits available to PGA Members
  • Locations throughout North County San Diego: Fallbrook, Escondido, San Marcos, Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Poway, Ramona
