Overview
Eau Claire Golf & Country Club is excited to announce an exceptional opportunity for a Golf Shop Associate. Qualified candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service in a collaborative golf operations environment.
We are currently hiring, with anticipated start dates between mid-April and mid-May based on seasonal scheduling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Golf Professionals to check in members and guests and address questions or concerns.
  • Communicates regularly with staff to coordinate tee times, course flow, and pace-of-play solutions.
  • Assists members and guests with merchandise purchases and golf-related services through clear, helpful communication.
  • Engages with members to understand their needs and offers thoughtful recommendations.
  • Shares observations and suggestions with Golf Professionals to improve service and operations.
  • Contributes to the organization of the golf shop and stock room while coordinating needs with teammates.
  • Assists with junior golf programs by communicating expectations and supporting positive experiences.
  • Participates in discussions regarding shop presentation, inventory needs, and service improvements.
  • Helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming golf shop environment.
  • Communicates issues, opportunities, and feedback to supervisors in a timely manner.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned to support team success.

Role Impact:
The Golf Shop Associate serves as a key communication link between members, guests, and the golf operations team. Through strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving conversations, this role helps create a positive, efficient, and memorable golf shop experience.
Physical Requirements and Work Conditions:
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. to waist height.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, and stoop as needed.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions, including computer entry.
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
  • Normal vision and hearing required.
