The Promontory Conservancy is looking to fulfill a vacancy for a Conservancy Gate Staff - Part time.
The Conservancy Gate Staff will be responsible for locking facilities, watching for road safety issues and working special events as needed. This position works throughout the property so an ability to work with all departments within Promontory is essential. Day and night shifts available.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Completes all daily assignments in a timely manner.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management.
  • Evening lock up of all Promontory facilities.
  • Ability to relieve gate staff when necessary and to use the Salesforce program.
  • Interface with owners of Promontory to handle HOA matters.
  • Work with all departments in help with parking/safety issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS AND CERTIFICATIONS: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; must be at least 21 years of age and be able to pass a pre - employment background and motor vehicle driving check; current first aid/CPR certification preferred.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; basic computer skills preferred.
WORKING KNOWLEDGE TO BE ACQUIRED ON JOB: Abide by Promontory policies and procedures and submit ideas for possible revision; work independently with little supervision; courteous and helpful with Promontory Club Members and employees.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs; must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Wages start at $22/hr.
