The Convenience Cart Attendant is a highly independent, guest-facing role responsible for delivering food, beverages, and retail items directly to golfers throughout the course while maintaining the presentation and atmosphere of assigned areas.
This position brings the course to life: creating warm interactions, driving on-course sales, anticipating guest needs, and serving as a visible ambassador for the club’s hospitality standards.
Responsibilities
  • Operate a convenience or beverage cart across the golf course, proactively engaging guests and members.
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable service while offering food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and convenience items.
  • Drive sales through suggestive selling, promotions, and creating memorable guest interactions.

  • Uphold American Golf’s service standards and professionalism in appearance and conduct.
  • Assist with light course or guest-area upkeep when needed to support overall presentation.
  • Serve as a point of contact for guests, answering basic questions and directing them to clubhouse services.
Qualifications
  • Prior customer service, hospitality, beverage, or retail experience preferred.
  • Comfortable working independently and managing time across large outdoor spaces.

  • Sales-minded and confident in recommending products.
  • Must be at least the legal age to serve alcohol and able to obtain any required local certifications.
  • Ability to safely operate a golf cart.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Working Conditions
  • Outdoor position requiring extended periods of walking, standing, and driving a convenience cart.
  • Ability to lift and transport up to 25–40 pounds (cases of beverages, ice, supplies).
