Job description

Navesink Country Club is seeking motivated and dependable individuals to join the Golf Course Maintenance Team. This entry-level position assists in the daily maintenance and conditioning of the golf course, practice facilities, clubhouse grounds, and landscaping.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in golf course management, landscaping, horticulture, or outdoor work. No previous golf course experience is required — training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mow greens, tees, fairways, rough, and other turf areas
  • Rake and maintain bunkers
  • Set up the golf course daily including cup changing, tee markers, and practice facility setup
  • Operate maintenance equipment including mowers, string trimmers, blowers, and utility vehicles
  • Assist with irrigation repairs and hand watering
  • Perform landscaping duties including planting, mulching, trimming, and weed control
  • Remove debris, leaves, and storm damage from the golf course.
  • Maintain a clean and organized maintenance facility
  • Follow all safety procedures and equipment operating guidelines
  • Support tournament preparation and special events as needed
  • Perform additional duties assigned by the Superintendent or management staff
