Promontory Club is seeking motivated and service driven individuals to join our Outside Golf Operations team for the summer season, typically running from early May through late October. This position provides the opportunity to work in a world class private club environment while gaining valuable experience in hospitality and golf operations.

Position Overview
Outside Golf Operations personnel serve as the first and last impression of the golf experience at Promontory. From greeting members upon arrival to ensuring their departure is seamless, this team is responsible for creating a welcoming and organized environment throughout the golf operation.
Team members assist in all areas of outside golf operations including the cart barn, bag room, practice facility, starter operations, course monitoring, and the arrival podium. This role requires attention to detail, strong teamwork, and a proactive hospitality mindset. The goal is not simply to operate the facility but to create an experience where members feel welcomed, cared for, and excited to return.
Primary Responsibilities
Maintain awareness of the daily tee sheet and monitor updates throughout each shift
Prepare and stage golf carts to meet Promontory presentation standards
Assist members and guests with golf bags and equipment in the bag room
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the cart barn and staging areas
Support operations at the podium and practice facilities
Assist the starter in managing tee time flow and communication with members
Monitor the golf course to support pace of play and enhance the member experience
Maintain practice facility presentation including range ball management and setup
Ensure radios, carts, and operational equipment are functioning and ready
Communicate effectively with the professional staff regarding member needs or operational updates

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time; ability to spend time in an outdoor environment in the sun, rain and other conditions; ability to lift 30lbs regularly and the ability to lift up to 60lbs occasionally; must be willing to work various hours, holidays and weekends.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Wages start at $20/hr and will be commensurate with experience upon employment.
