Job description

Red Hawk Golf and Resort, located in Sparks, NV, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Security Officer! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less). This position is expected to run through October, with the potential to become a year-round opportunity for the right candidate. The schedule averages 18–25 hours per week and offers flexibility, making it a great fit for someone looking for part-time work in a beautiful resort setting.
 
Pay:
$16.00 per hour depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the safety and security of resort facilities and grounds.
  • Patrol the golf course and property to ensure rules and regulations are being followed.
  • Respond to security-related concerns from members, guests, and employees in a calm and professional manner.
  • Conduct routine and random property inspections.
  • Verify buildings and access points are secure.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports.
  • Identify and address potential safety hazards.
  • Assist with light maintenance duties as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Six months or more of related experience and/or training preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements:
  • Regular and reliable attendance.
  • Professional and calm demeanor, with strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment.
