Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions: Performs daily grounds maintenance on golf course. These tasks include mowing of all golf course areas, weed eating and trimming, maintaining bunkers, changing cups on greens, keeping golf course clean of trash, and helping with seasonal or special duties such as course aerifying and fertilizing. Must be able to maintain proper adjustment and height settings on mowers. Also must be able to replace and change belts on commercial zero turn radius mowers. Also performs minor maintenance on machinery such as greasing bearings and fittings, washing and daily cleaning.

Working Conditions
This position requires 100% on-site work. Works outside and inside in all kinds of weather; works in extreme cold, heat, heights, temperature variations and noise; works with fumes/odor, dust/mites and chemical hazards. Must be available to work any hours. Monday through Friday and works on a rotational basis on the weekends.
Minimum Essential Qualifications
Knowledge: Golf course machinery including tri-plex greens mowers, small tractors, sand grooming equipment, fairway mowers, and other commercial mowers. Weed eating and trimming ability is very useful. Must have previous maintenance experience and some knowledge of golf and etiquette. Knowledge of the game of golf is preferred.
Skills/Abilities: Ability to change and set pins in a manner to favor course conditions and playing conditions.
Physical Requirements: Constantly sees and hears; frequently stands, bends, walks, cleans, stoops, kneels, crouches, reads, reaches, squats, sorts, twists body, writes by hand; lifts, pulls and pushes objects weighing up to 55 lbs; carries up to 70 lbs; drags up to 40 lbs; requires stamina. Infrequently carries and lifts objects weighing up to 50 lbs; climbs, digs. Use of measuring equipment, uses physical dexterity. Must be able to spend continuous hours on the above mentioned equipment.
Education/Experience: Must have completed at least 9 school grades. Two (2) years golf course maintenance experience preferred.
