Job description

Essential Job Functions:
  • Assists Golf Course Manager / Golf Course Supervisor in training Golf Shop Attendants.
  • Assists in maintaining Golf Shop inventory including physical inventories, receiving, and display of merchandise.
  • Assists in the planning, promoting, merchandising, and marketing for special events and sales.
  • Promotes Golf Shop sales and superior customer relations on a daily basis.
  • Oversees general cleanliness of cash desk, sales, and merchandise display area.
  • Monitors procedures for special orders and returned merchandise.
  • Assists in distributing and retrieving cash banks (on land).
  • Sells food and beverages in absence of Golf Snack Bar Attendant.
  • Provide service to internal and external customers which reflects the company culture of Satisfaction, Togetherness, Appreciation and Recognition. (S.T.A.R.)
  • Responsible for immediately informing on-site IGC Agent on duty, Security and Supervisor on Duty of any Internal Control or State Regulation violations related to gaming activity of which you commit, witness or become aware; must report pursuant to company Self-Reporting Policy.

Other Job Functions:
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:
  • Experience Required: Previous Golf Shop employment and/or retailing experience.
  • Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Required: Basic knowledge of computers; ability to communicate effectively with others; understands and complies with all Company and departmental rules and regulations.
  • Licenses, Certifications, Bonding, and/or Testing Required: Indiana Alcohol Beverage permit.
  • Other Specialized Requirements: Previous cash handling experience.
