Description

Duties/Responsibilities:

  •    Maintain and repair the maintenance machinery and equipment.
  • Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Anticipate equipment needs to be ready for scheduled course maintenance.
  • Keep records of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
  •  Purchasing and expense tracking.
  • Assist in specifying equipment and tools for purchase.
  •  Perform general duties such as sharpening and installing blades on the mowers,
  • Repair flats and changing tires as needed.
  • Work a generally normal schedule with flexibility when necessary. (after hours, weekends, etc.)
  • Attend work consistently and punctually.
  • Work well with supervision: receiving instructions, feedback, coaching/counseling and/or action/discipline.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned. 
  • Help out on ground maintenance when no equipment in   need of service.
  • Other groundskeeping duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required qualifications: 

  • 1 to 3 years related experience.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Communication
  • Ability to traverse golf course to maintain it

Education/Certification/etc. required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
