Job description

Groundskeepers, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent, perform routine manual labor involved in golf course maintenance; do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work; operate small hand-powered equipment.

Experience not needed. 40 hours a week plus time and half for overtime. This is a seasonal position. Some part time positions are available as well.


General Schedule: Monday to Thursday 4:00am to 12:30pm. Friday 4:00am to 8:00am. Saturday or Sunday 3:30am to 7:30am.
Limited golf privileges and driving range use. Uniforms included.

Pay based on experience: $18.00-$19.50/Hour

Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of methods and materials used in grounds and landscape area construction/maintenance work.
  • Working knowledge of and ability to use hand and power tools and equipment.
  • Ability to operate trucks and light motorized equipment.
  • Physical strength, stamina and agility.
  • Available to work one weekend morning each week during the season
  • Works well as part of a team
  • Able to safely lift up to 50 lbs
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Available for early morning shifts
  • Reliable personal transportation required
