Job description

GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE EQUIPMENT OPERATOR
Stonebridge Country Club, a private country club in west Boca Raton, has an immediate full-time opening for a Golf Course Equipment Operator to operate and maintain grounds on the golf course.
The Equipment / Machine Operator will operate equipment and performs a variety of golf course conditioning functions to include but not limited to greens care, tee care, perimeter care, bunker care and fairway care. Ensures that all such areas are free of grass clippings and debris.
Responsibilities:
  • Mowing greens, tees, fairways and roughs
  • Trimming & pruning
  • Edging cart paths, bunkers and landscape beds
  • Weeding of beds and bunkers, spot spraying of weeds
  • Changing cups
  • Use of both riding equipment and hand tools

Requirements:
  • Must have minimum of two year maintaining a golf course, including operating Toro walking greens mowers, Toro fairway and rough mowers, and Toro triplex mowers
  • Valid Florida Drivers License
  • Ability to work outside in all seasons
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand; walk; crouch; bend; twist; crawl; kneel; climb; reach; stoop; use hands to handle or feel; talk; hear
  • Ability to see, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and color vision
  • Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions or directions
