Job description

Internal Medicine Physician opening: Hutchinson County, TX Located in Borger, TX - in Texas Panhandle 50 miles from Amarillo, TXPosition Details

  • Full-time, permanent
  • Employed
  • Specialty clinic currently seeking an Internal Medicine Physician.
  • Texas License required (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Base Salary: $264,000
  • RVU Bonus: RVUs greater than 988 per quarter paid at $34.87 per RVU.
  • Physician Professional Dues and Fees: (subject to approval) Texas Medical Association dues; Texas medical license fees, DEA registration costs, and Texas DPS Controlled Substance registration fees; and specialty board, AMA or sub-specialty association dues.
  • Paid Time Off: 20 weekdays per year of time off work; carryover of days is not allowed. Any time off must be coordinated with management. The following holidays are not counted against Physicians maximum number of days off: New Years Day, Labor Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas, and Independence Day
  • CME Reimbursement: $3,000 per contract year for IRS -allowed CME expenses, five (five) working weekdays per year (separate from PTO), subject to approval. Carryover of days or expenses is not allowed. Time and expenses for specialty certification, specialty recertification, books and periodicals shall be charged against CME allowances.
  • Benefits Provided at Hospitals Expense: professional liability insurance, long term disability insurance, life insurance policy (we provide a policy with a maximum of $150,000)
  • Other Benefits Available at Physicians Expense: employee health insurance 80/20 (employee pays 20% of premium cost), dependent health insurance (employee pays premium), dental insurance (employee pays premium), vision insurance (employee pays premium), supplemental life insurance, short term disability insurance, retirement plan
  • Relocation Allowance: Not to exceed $10,000
  • Signing Bonus: $15,000 (1/3 paid at signing, 1/3 paid upon 1st day on the job, 1/3 90 of employment end of probation ).
  • Educational Loan Forgiveness: Not to exceed $1,000 monthly. We are also in a HPSA designated area.
