Job description

The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently looking for part-time Golf Beverage Cart Attendants to join our team in support of members and guests on the golf course. Bar Cart Attendants should be knowledgeable of the golf courses and competent in the taking orders and serving of guests. Bar Cart Attendants should deliver prompt, efficient, courteous service with pleasant and positive demeanor. Other responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, and maintaining the bar carts.
The successful candidate will have/be:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older(cannot be under 21 if they are pouring open liquor)
  • Previous bartending experience and in possession of a current Delaware ABC card required
  • Golf course knowledge/experience
  • Ability to be outdoors in the elements (Heat, rain, colder weather) for 8+ hours a day
  • Ability to work efficiently unsupervised
  • Computer skills required: Knowledge of F&B POS, placing orders via tablet preferred
  • Minimum availability of 3 days a week, one of which needs to be a Saturday or Sunday
  • Must be able to competently and responsibly drive a golf cart and navigate the golf courses
  • Pleasant and respectful demeanor with members as well as other staff
