The DuPont Country Club, nestled within the rolling hills of the historic Brandywine Valley, is one of the premier venues to promote leisure activities through championship caliber golf courses, state of the art tennis facilities, pools, and an updated fitness center. Elegantly decorated rooms, magnificent natural surroundings, customized event planning and impeccable service make any event at the DuPont Country Club truly a special occasion.
The DuPont Country Club is currently hiring Special Events Interns who have a passion for the hospitality industry to join our team in support of our club operations.
  • Interns learn how to ensure events of all types and sizes run smoothly
  • Includes experience with many types of events such as weddings, charity fundraisers, corporate meetings and large member events
  • Interns will progressively take on increased responsibility including staffing and leadership of specific events
  • Internships are available for both Summer season and Year-round
Specific Responsibilities include:
  • Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet and event area
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and exceed customer service expectations
  • Maintain composure in a fast-paced environment
  • Relay important information about orders, allergies and special requests to the Event Supervisors and Chef
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns
  • Present in professional appearance and mannerisms
