The Wait Assist is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, ensuring that tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset promptly to provide an exceptional dining experience for guests. This role supports the waitstaff and kitchen teams to ensure efficient service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Quickly and efficiently clear tables of dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils.
Clean and reset tables in preparation for the next guests, ensuring that all settings are neat and complete.
Assist servers by refilling water glasses, bringing bread or other items to tables, and responding to guest requests as needed.
Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including sweeping floors, wiping down surfaces, and ensuring that all areas are tidy and presentable.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of dining areas for special events or large parties.
Collaborate with kitchen and waitstaff to ensure the smooth flow of service during busy periods.
Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and sanitary environment for guests and staff.
Report any maintenance or repair needs to management promptly.
Provide excellent customer service by being attentive and responsive to guest needs and inquiries.

Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Required Experience:
