Job Description

The Manager, Brand Marketing, Sports will support the planning, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across Versant’s sports (USA Sports, Golf Channel), as well as some entertainment properties (USA, E!, SYFY, Oxygen). This hands-on role plays a key in day-to-day strategic development, campaign execution, cross-functional coordination, and project management. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, highly collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-pace-oriented, highly collaborative, and comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Director in development and execution of brand strategies for key sports properties
  • Manage day-to-day-to-day marketing campaign planning across all internal team verticals and platforms, as well as external partners
  • Ensure brand consistency across linear, streaming, digital, and social deliverables
  • Assist in gathering campaign insights, performance data, and recap materials
  • Create marketing materials and communication presentations showcasing larger campaign initiatives
  • Act as liaison to Versant’s various sports partnerships – maintaining regular  correspondences with leagues across the USA Sports portfolio
  • Collaborate with content distribution teams to ensure marketing materials support affiliate campaigns
  • Maintain marketing budgets, vendor invoices, and campaign documentation
  • Coordinate cross-promotional opportunities between sports and entertainment properties
  • Track sports marketing deliverables and updated timelines across USA Sport and Golf Channel
  • Manage project timelines, asset trackers, and cross-functional-functional workflows to ensure on-time delivery
  • Organize regular status meetings, agendas, and recaps
  • Support larger promotional activations for specific properties or marketing campaigns
  • Act as a reliable day-to-day-to-day contact for agency partners and vendors on assigned campaigns
  • Support senior team members on broader brand initiatives, presentations, and planning needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Additional Requirements:

  • This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week
