  • Ensure production commitments align with installation schedules and customer expectations
Process Design & Operational Excellence
  • Design and continuously improve production workflows and manufacturing processes
  • Lead facility layout improvements to optimize workflow, efficiency, and safety
  • Standardize work instructions, production systems, and quality procedures
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Drive reductions in waste, downtime, scrap, and rework
Financial & Operational Management
  • Develop and manage the annual production budget
  • Monitor labor cost per unit, production efficiency, and overall manufacturing costs
  • Evaluate capital equipment investments and automation opportunities
  • Improve productivity while maintaining Golfsheds’ premium quality standards
  • Manage production resources to maximize profitability and operational performance
KPI Management & Accountability
Develop, monitor, and improve key manufacturing metrics, including:
  • Production throughput
  • Units completed per month
  • Labor efficiency
  • On-time delivery
  • Quality performance
  • Scrap and rework rates
  • Schedule adherence
  • Safety performance
  • Equipment utilization
  • Inventory accuracy
Establish clear expectations for department leaders and create a culture of accountability through measurable performance goals.
Cross-Functional Leadership
Work closely with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory, Operations, and Installation teams to ensure every department is aligned with production capacity and customer commitments.
Responsibilities include:
  • Aligning production schedules with incoming sales
  • Coordinating material availability with Purchasing
  • Working with Engineering on manufacturability improvements
  • Ensuring Shipping and Installation teams receive completed projects on schedule
  • Supporting executive leadership with production forecasting and operational planning
What We’re Looking For
  • 7+ years of manufacturing or production leadership experience
  • Proven experience leading production teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and capacity management
  • Experience improving manufacturing processes using Lean or Continuous Improvement principles
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Financial acumen with experience managing budgets and production costs
  • Ability to analyze data and make operational decisions using KPIs
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a passion for building scalable systems
  • Comfortable leading organizational change and process improvements
Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimize scrap, rework, and production delays
