Job description

Salary:

Summary:


  • Responsible for performing sales functions for guests, payouts for winners, and recording all sales within the Bingo Hall accurately.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Reports to work in a timely fashion as scheduled including meeting and / or training sessions (All meeting and training sessions are considered mandatory).

  • Responsible for reading, comprehension and adherence of regulatory, Bingo, and Golden Eagle Casino policies and procedures.

  • Fosters and maintains a positive attitude toward the fellow team members, management, and guests.

  • Assist with the set up of the Bingo hall including getting bingo paper ready, setting out trash bags, cleaning tables, setting up tables, vacuuming, setting up Bingo equipment, checking lights of Bingo boards, etc.

  • Perform funds transfers with Paymaster.

  • Must show proficiency with office equipment, including, but not limited to: 10 key adding machine, computers, fax machine, and copier.

  • Performs cash transactions with guest accurately and professionally.

  • Sets up cashiering window for each session appropriately.

  • Counts packets and moneys assigned to area, records and accurately documents both on the appropriate forms.

  • Maintains a clean, organized, and secured work station at all times.

  • Covers check cashing per Golden Eagle Casino Bingo policies and procedures.

  • Assist with clean up after the Bingo session including emptying ashtrays, sanitizing the tables, placing all debris in trash bags, placing trash bags by the door to be taken to the compactor, vacuuming, tearing down Bingo equipment, etc.

  • May work entertainment including concerts, parades, etc. when Bingo is not in session or conflicts with regular Bingo schedule.

  • Performs other duties assigned by Bingo Manager or Golden Eagle Casino Management.

  • Accountable for accurate count of all bingo paper issued and returned.

  • Maintain a clean apron/cabinet at all times.

  • Ensure tips are placed in the proper tip box.

  • Actively walk the Bingo floor and closely observe for guests wanting to purchase extra bingo sheets, etc.

  • Accountable for accurate count of Bingo paper sales on the floor and cash transactions with guests.

  • Verify papers for winning bingos with Bingo caller through Bingo machine.

  • Responsible for stopping game when Bingo is called out by a guest.

  • Accountable for proper payouts of cash prizes to guests.

  • Understands and/or calls regular session and/or Early Eagle and extra games.

  • Understand and/or checks and assures proper functions of the lighted Bingo boards and proper function of Bingo equipment.

  • Understands and/or ensures all balls are clean, accurately numbered, and checks for cracked or damaged balls.

  • Must have good customer service skills and be able to work within a fast paced environment.

  • Understands and/or clarifies all rules and regulations of Bingo management for all games and specials.

  • Observe customers for those with a Bingo in conjunction with floor walkers

  • May assume either Paymaster duties or Inventory duties as a Dual Rate but never both.


Education and Experience:



  • High School Diploma / GED required

  • Six months of comparable previous work experience; related work experience with the public and cash handling



Other Skills:


  • Must have good customer service skills and work in a fast paced environment.
