This position allows for a flexible work arrangement, as you will be providing counseling services primarily through teletherapy. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Facilitate therapeutic sessions utilizing evidence-based techniques aimed at fostering personal growth and resilience.
• Collaboratively establish clear therapeutic goals with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions and client interactions in compliance with ethical standards and organizational policies.
• Engage in continuous professional development activities, including training and workshops, to enhance clinical skills and stay updated with the latest therapeutic practices.

Your role will focus on a diverse population, including adults and children/adolescents, each facing unique challenges. In understanding their individual experiences, you will provide tailored therapeutic support that may address issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma. You will also actively work with clients to navigate family dynamics and support systems, which can significantly impact their mental health.

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
• Empathy, understanding, and a nonjudgmental attitude are vital for fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively to maintain a full caseload and complete necessary administrative tasks.

• Experience in teletherapy or virtual counseling platforms is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work successfully with diverse populations and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team.
• Previous experience in a community health setting is a plus, further aiding your understanding of the unique challenges faced by clients in such environments.
