We are the Apple Field Design Engineering Connectivity group specializing on location and fitness technologies using GNSS. We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate engineer to evaluate GNSS on Apple products. This also includes validating and proposing changes for state-of-the-art technologies developed at Apple with focused experiments and engineering analysis to enhance end user experience.
You should be proactive and very detail oriented, have great teamwork skills, and a strong passion for Apple. You must be able to collaborate with team members in a fast-paced dynamic environment and still feel comfortable working alone to complete individual responsibilities.

Description
You will be involved in GNSS validation of Apple products from early prototype stages to post release phase. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and gain experience in real time data collection, post processing, data analytics, project tracking and presenting to senior management.","responsibilities":"Develop and run GNSS/Location test plan with focus on customer experience for location and fitness use cases.
Travel to test locations for executing field evaluations in stationary and mobility conditions.
Generate system performance test reports with key performance indicators.
Identify issues impacting HW/System performance and perform deep-dive analysis.
Utilizing GNSS expertise, provide feedback on future Apple product hardware and software specifications.
Use engineering data to analyze complex problems and improve customer experience metrics, giving you a complete picture of the system.
Create impact at program-level by driving with data and deep engineering expertise
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s in Engineering or Science fields required plus minimum of 2 years industry experience in GNSS/Location/Wireless technologies
Strong understanding of GNSS or Wireless technologies, and experience with testing mobile devices in these areas.
Hands-on experience with GNSS/GPS test equipment such as ground truth, simulators and RF record and replay systems
Experience with post-processing of diagnostic logs using automation tools.
Strong experience as individual contributor in analyzing and debugging GNSS/Location issues. Able to perform in-depth technical analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Engineering or Science fields required plus minimum of 3 years industry experience in GNSS/Location/Wireless technologies
Basic understanding of GNSS or Wireless technologies, and experience with testing mobile devices in these areas.
Willingness to travel to test locations to conduct automated and manual test procedures.
Able to work independently with strong multitasking and time management skills.
Solid problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience as an individual contributor with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
