Job description

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all warehouse operations to support business objectives through safe, efficient, and accurate handling of inventory and materials. This role is accountable for day-to-day warehouse activities, workforce leadership, inventory accuracy, space utilization, and operational discipline. The Warehouse Manager establishes and maintains work systems, standard operating procedures, KPI measurements, and policies to ensure consistent productivity, quality, safety, and compliance. The role also supports company mission, vision, and culture by developing team members and driving continuous improvement within the warehouse.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage the Transportation, Warehousing, and Inventory of our products with an efficient and agile supply network.
  • Deliver on supply chain metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong inventory management and oversight.
  • Ability to develop and lead all department personnel with safety and performance accountability lens.
  • Contribute to and provide initiatives for inventory reduction strategies.
  • Lead successful implementation of upgraded version of EPR/WMS system.
  • Manage on-time delivery of materials to our production facilities.
  • Review and manage workflows, staffing requirements, space allocation, equipment, and action plans to meet GNC standards for productivity, quality, and customer service.
  • Support cycle count program, inventory audits, and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
  • Administer, support and comply with all GNC policies and procedures
  • Take active role in safety, promote and encourage safety practices
  • Provide feedback to upper management for continuous improvement
  • Investigate concerns as they take place, implement corrective actions and audit areas to ensure overall effectiveness
  • Resolve shipping or receiving issues in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop goals to direct reports in line with GNC overall objectives and KPI measurements.
  • Develop and manage department budget.
  • Identifying and implementing training needs.

Requirements
  • 5-7 years of experience in Warehouse Management
  • A minimum of 3 years within a food manufacturing environment (warehouse support of production)
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Warehouse Manager
  • Skilled in Microsoft systems (specifically Intermediate Excel)
  • Familiar with MRP/ERP systems
  • Preferred bachelor's degree in supply chain, Operations or relevant degree
