Job summaryThe Head of TDS and SES NA will report directly to the GM Powertrain NA and will be responsible for P&L, operations, sales, project management and development of all the both business Units within the Division Powertrain of MUBEA NA. Scope of responsibility is North Amercia with close interlink to Europe and Asia.
Duties and Responsibilities-Lead the 2 business units and ensure sustainable profitability and growth of division Powertrain in NA according to the Business and Mid-Term Plan -Collaborate with Executive management and key stakeholders to provide regular updates on BU Status, risk, opportunities and financial status. -Evaluate and select new customers to ensure customer order intake targets for the division Powertrain NA in terms of: o Keep and grow existing business within the transformation process (Last man standing Powertrain) o Materialize new business with regards to SES opportunities in NA -Manage the implementation of cost reduction initiatives across multiple Business units and functions (PIP). -Provide leadership and direction to Business Unit teams and core functions such as sales and purchasing, ensuring clear communication, effective collaboration and timely resolution of issues. -Develop yearly budget and Mid Term Planning for all Powertrain Business Unites within North America in accordance with the corporate process. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including purchasing, sales, logistics + warehouse, finance, accounting, IT, engineering, operations and quality. -Provide guidance and support to site in Florence (KY) and Detroit (MI) for commercial and operational excellence -Continuous alignment on strategy with Headquarter in Germany and other the other Business Units in Europe and China serving the same product and/or customers
Your profile-Degree in business administration -Must have minimum of 8 years of experience in senior leadership and business administration such as general management, logistics, purchasing, sales or finance. -Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skill, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. - Intercultural Competence -Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of driving results and delivering value. -Ability to travel internationally as needed. Preferred Education and Experience: -Advanced degree - Experience in automotive manufacturing driven business -Experience working in a Germany based (international) organization - Bilingual German/English a plus
